Vybex Pro & Ultimate – Terms of Service

1. Scope
These Terms govern the purchase and use of Vybex Pro and Vybex Ultimate. The specific features, license type and number of activation codes included in a purchase are determined by the applicable product offer at the time of purchase. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
2. Vybex license
A Vybex Pro or Vybex Ultimate purchase provides the license and number of personal activation codes specified in the applicable product offer. Each activation code is intended for one personal device/browser activation, subject to these Terms and the applicable product offer.
3. Device activation
Each activation code is bound server-side to the first browser/device identifier that activates it. The same code may be re-entered on that same browser/device while the locally stored identifier remains available. The same code cannot be activated on another device.
4. Browser storage and activation recovery
The activation information is stored locally in the browser. Normal browser closing and reopening should not remove persistent storage. However, deleting website/browser data, using private or temporary browsing, resetting the browser or blocking local storage may cause Vybex to no longer recognize the activation. If an already valid purchase cannot be recognized because of a technical issue, contact support at info@vybex.eu.
5. Image processing
Vybex is designed to process selected images locally in the browser. Supported metadata and formats depend on the file and the browser. Vybex does not promise that every possible metadata field can be detected or removed, or that every image can be processed without changes.
6. Product features and updates
Vybex Pro provides the features identified in the applicable Pro product description, which may include batch processing, Smart Optimize and ZIP export.
Vybex Ultimate provides the features identified in the applicable Ultimate product description, which may include advanced metadata analysis and cleaning, privacy profiles, resizing, image format conversion, optimization, batch processing and professional reports.
Features may evolve through updates, provided that mandatory statutory rights and the agreed contractual scope are respected.
7. Acceptable use
License codes must not be shared, resold or intentionally used by unauthorized persons. Vybex may take legally permitted measures against abuse or fraud.
8. Intellectual property
The Vybex software, branding, interface, source code and other protected materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. A purchase grants the usage rights expressly described here; it does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights.
9. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including statutory rights relating to digital products and mandatory consumer protection.
